In 1989 several leaders of doctors community started CD Path as a diagnostic centre at Badurtala, Cumilla. Thinking about affordable treatment to the society of Cumilla region a General Hospital has been opened in 1992. In 2014 wider spectrum modalities like CT Scan, Oesophagoscopy, Colonoscopy, Echo Cardiography, Bone Densitometry, OPG, Dialysis etc are introduced with the intention to complete diagnoses & treatment in our centre.

As per demand of the area population for urgent management CD Path started ICU, CCU, Neonatal ICU & Pediatric ICU from 2015.
